The Madhubani School of Art and Culture is a completely self-funded project. APPER is looking for funds to make the school self-sufficient. By now we have got enough experience and the response of the villagers is highly positive. Our initiative should also contribute to poverty alleviation in this region stuck with extreme poverty and since this art form is to women empowerment as it is the women who are at the forefront of this art form. We also want to establish the Madhubani School of Art and Painting on a more permanent basis and for this, we would definitely need some support from the state. Our goal is to make this endeavor self-supporting and sustainable.
